2 days, Fireworks is a highly regarded, comprehensive software developed for creating and optimizing Web graphics to create small file sizes. You'll use powerful drawing and photo editing tools and optimization features to create sophisticated Web graphics quickly and efficiently. If you use Dreamweaver, you can work efficiently using Fireworks to create graphics from JPEG photos to JavaScript rollovers and animations. You will also learn about exporting graphics to Web browsers and creating:
- Web transparent graphics
- Horizontal and vertical navigation bars
- Animated GIF graphics
- Frames for images using clipping paths
- Image maps
- Graphics with linear gradients
- Text on a path
- Graphics for repeating background images
- Simple page designs using slicing

You will create entire Web page designs, slice and export HTML code, learn about vector and bitmap masks, and create photomontages. You will also use Fireworks/Dreamweaver integration features to update your Web pages and create an entire Web site. Topics include:

- Advanced animation using shared layers and tweening
